Selma Tubular Splicing Fids

Designed and manufactured in Norway. This is a fantastic set of fids. There is no need to excessively tape the rope to the fid. There's nothing to catch strands, making for a smooth splicing experience.

These are definately the Rolls Royce of tubular fids.

Kit includes 5 splicing fids (4, 5.5, 7.5, 10, 13mm) and Selma splicing instructions.

Great set of fids. However, why do splicers refer to allowing a fid length for the splice which is 21 x Diam. Rope.... much greater than actual “fid” Length?

Hi Trev, Thanks for getting these fids to me to promptly. Got them earlier than expected. You were also offering the best price that I've found both in Australia and internationally. The boys at work said, an easy way to tell if someone is new to splicing is if they enjoy it. I hated splicing from the get go because I found it so difficult and time consuming.
