Fixed Eye Wire Splicing Fid

These fixed eye wire splicing fids are as used by us here in the Treegear Splicing Dept.

Wire fids make it easier to splice ropes with tight covers where there is not a lot of room for larger traditional fids to fit through. 

Made of 2.0mm diameter wire with a formed eye.  The eye makes it very easy to secure the fid to an anchored hook while working the rope.

Available in 2 lengths, the 25cm is good for smaller diameters like 6-8mm cordage with shorter buries, while the 55cm will handle longer buries on 10-13mm Arborist Ropes.
