The Petzl Croll is a sleek ascender to be used with a chest harness and hand ascender as part of an SRT tree climbing system. The upper hole is rectangular to allow correct attachment to the harness. Specially shaped to sit flat against the body of the user. Toothed cam.

Available in two versions:
- CROLL S: compact and lightweight rope clamp for 8-11mm ropes. This version has a rope channel that is reinforced with stainless steel, for very harsh environments
- CROLL L: rope clamp for 8-13mm ropes with wide rope channel for excellent fluidity during ascents

Used with the ASCENSION handled rope clamp for ascending a rope
Toothed cam with self-cleaning slot optimizes performance under any conditions (e.g. rope that is icy, muddy,etc.). The stainless steel cam has better resistance to corrosion
The rope channel is reinforced with stainless steel for greater durability
Catch is opened by pinching for easy, simple manipulation
Lower hole is angled to keep the device flat
Upper hole for attaching a SECUR shoulder strap to keep the rope clamp in position
