The Rope Runner is the latest innovation from SRT pioneer, Kevin Bingham of Singing Tree.

His out of the box thinking has changed tree climbing.  

The Rope Runner is the future of rope climbing systems. In a single device you can now have a frictionless ascent with almost zero sit back and smooth, fast, controlled descent on a single line.  The top section applies a bend to the line in a similar way to the Rope Wrench while the bottom half has a unique friction plate and pulley that applies friction when under load, but releases freely when un-weighted.

We have been experimenting with the Rope Runner since the prototype device was released.  The 'Runner has since become the go-to device for SRT work positioning.  This device has great "feel" and is quick to get comfortable with.

Combined with a foot ascender & HAAS this is about as good as it gets!
