KNUCKL Rope Gripper

This is a brilliant piece of rope ascent kit. I climb trees using a single rope technique and climb on static rope. You can easily grip 8, 9 or 10 mil rope with this device without it cutting into your hand. If you use a Wildcountry Ropeman, or something similar, as your main ascender or for your foot loop you can easily take some weight through the Knuckl Rope Gripper with your free hand, without it slipping or cutting. It is like a third point of attachment. If you like minimalism, light weight kit this is brilliant. Makes a single rope ascent much easier. Place a top rope with the Bigshot. Tie off one end and begin your single rope ascent. Makes the climb faster, easier and more comfortable. The grip only comes in one size so if you have really big hands it may feel a bit tight, a squeeze on the fingers'; hopefully Ferno will address this and make multiple small improvements for comfort and different hand sizes.

Using it in tandem with my chicane/zigzag (seen here grabbing Kermit!). Great grip, making it easier for my slight arthritis issue.

Not bad for getting a good grip for pulling I bought it to try as a hand ascender but not much good for that not a bad little toy though
