Great set of fids. However, why do splicers refer to allowing a fid length for the splice which is 21 x Diam. Rope.... much greater than actual “fid” Length?

Hi Trev, Thanks for getting these fids to me to promptly. Got them earlier than expected. You were also offering the best price that I've found both in Australia and internationally. The boys at work said, an easy way to tell if someone is new to splicing is if they enjoy it. I hated splicing from the get go because I found it so difficult and time consuming. These fids solved both of those problems and I reckon the boys will be back into it once I feel willing to share my new prized toys. Cheers mate!
