Armor-Prus 10 mm Prusik Cord. Designed as a friction cord but many climbers use it as a work positioning lanyard or flipline. This cord is very tough; resistant to nicks and almost melt-proof! Armor-Prus is world famous in arborist circles for its ability to resist heat generated in speedy descents. The secret formula lies in the unique cover blend of Technora and polyester over a core of lightweight Spectra 900. Donahys Spectra core incorporates a world-first safety feature made up of twin Kevlar strands which, in the unlikely event of cover failure, prevent the core from being cut or melted completely. Armor-Prus has a very low stretch and is easy to splice - making it perfect for prusik lines. Technora is rated 234C higher than standard polyester. Approved for use (and popular in) International Tree Climbing Competitions.
Armor prus 10 mm, I like this for prussic, I tie my own using 2 meter lengths, grips my 13mm climbing line and the sheath doesn't melt with quick descent's.

Armor Prus is a good rope, I tie my own prussic loops from 2 meter lengths, the rope grips my 13mm climbing line well and doesn't melt the sheath in quick descent's.

Excellent piece of cordage from Donaghys. I had a 5m length sewn in the Gravity Lab by Trev. I use this as a work positioning lanyard. The cordage is strong, light, visible and resilient to heat. The custom lengths and stitched eyes make this a great lanyard.

I found getting 2 meters of prusik rope a good length for me. It held very well on my climbing line with no slippage and felt good on my hands.
I would get more of the same in future maybe in brighter colour to make easier to see.
